MSATF PSA
The Mayor’s Substance Abuse Task Force (MSATF) tackled substance-use disorders and the rhetoric that stops meaningful change in the lives of those affected by them. This PSA focuses on the language of addiction, abuse, and what someone can do to help.
I provided the script and visual direction for this piece while with Embrace Marketing and Communications. Mayor Lloyd Winnecke supplied the voice-over.

SPORTS COLUMN
“Hey Now, You’re an All-Star”
I wrote sports content, mostly about basketball, for UE’s Crescent magazine. This piece focused on the highs and lows of the NBA’s 2020 All-Star game, held in Chicago.
I also wrote about the NBA’s complex relationship with China, the cultural impact of Kobe Bryant’s passing, and the Indiana Pacers’ season.

MS in LEADERSHIP
In 2019, UE approached Embrace to create a Masters of Science in Leadership promotional video. Targeting post-grads and those hoping to add managerial skills later in life, the MS in Leadership ad played at UE basketball games and across the regional market.
I wrote the script and helped storyboard the project.

ALCOAN NEWSLETTER
After hours of interviews, phone calls, and site visits, I wrote two technical articles for Alcoa’s internal newsletter, The Alcoan. I had no previous experience in the industry, and my knowledge of coated scrap melters and contour molds couldn’t have been more lacking. However, both of these stories in the newsletter were written by me after much effort.
Titles include: “New scrap melter goes to work” and “New contour casting models change the shape of Warrick ingots.”

PEST CONTROL WEBSITE COPY
This folder contains website screens for nearly every page of the Pass Pest Control website. While I was at Embrace, the creative team was tasked with building a site from the ground up - requiring all new copy, from scratch.
All copy was written, edited and/proofed by me. Most design elements were created by other members of our creative team.

ONE PAGER
When Embrace Marketing and Communications needed an update to their white page content, I jumped at the opportunity. Writing for a document that would be the first look into the agency’s capabilities was an exciting prospect for me.
This one pager still stands as the creative brand’s face in 2022, opening the door to new business each time a client looks to grow their footprint.
